Choosing a kindergarten, we all worry about the same things. Here are our honest answers.
We never rush settling in. In the first days you stay with your child, and the time spent at kindergarten grows step by step. Every child adapts at their own pace.
Children eat five times a day. Our chef cooks fresh every morning. If your child has an allergy or a special diet, we adapt the menu.
Classrooms and the yard are covered by cameras. Only registered parents can enter. If someone else will pick up your child, you let us know in advance.
In the 4–6 group we work on letters, numbers, pre-writing, logic and chess. Children start first grade curious and focused.
You can watch through the online camera at any time. At pick-up, the teacher tells you how your child’s day went.
We offer transport from Mardakan, Shuvalan, Buzovna and nearby villages. We pick your child up in the morning and bring them home in the evening.
Mardakan Kindergarten is a private kindergarten and nursery in the centre of Mardakan, a seaside settlement of Baku. We welcome children from 1 to 6 years old.
We see every child not as someone to be “looked after” but as a little person who learns, plays, asks questions and feels loved all day long. We have a large yard, bright classrooms and a cosy nap room. Families come to us from Mardakan, Shuvalan, Buzovna and other villages of the Khazar district. International families are warmly welcome.
Children are grouped by age. Each group has its own teacher and its own daily rhythm.
1 – 2 yearsGentle care, sensory play, first words and first steps. We build fine motor skills and everyday habits like eating with a spoon and washing hands.
2 – 3 yearsSpeech development, colours, shapes and the world around us. Children learn to play together, take turns and put their feelings into words.
4 – 6 yearsLetters, numbers, pre-writing, logic, chess, English and Russian. We prepare curious, attentive children who are excited to start school.
What do the children do all day? The day starts calmly, then lessons, play, meals and rest follow one another.
The teacher greets every child by name at the door. Children start the day gently in their favourite play corner.
Porridge, cheese, eggs, bread and warm tea. A good day starts with a good breakfast.

Age-appropriate lessons of 20–30 minutes. Speech, maths, logic or English, always through play and hands-on materials.
Seasonal fruit, yoghurt or milk.
Running, ball games and exploring nature in the yard. On rainy days we play active games in the gym.
Drawing, modelling clay, collage, music and dance. Each child makes their own work and is proud of it.
Soup, a hot main course and salad. Children learn table manners and to eat independently.
Two hours of rest in an aired nap room with calm music and a story.
Gentle wake-up exercises, washing up and getting dressed. This is where self-care skills grow.
Homemade biscuits, compote, juice or fruit.
Chess, Russian, English games, building blocks or role play.
A light but filling evening meal.
Stories, board games and a recap of the day. When you arrive, the teacher briefly tells you about your child’s day.

You come together with your child, look around the rooms, meet the teacher and play a little.
You stay for 1–2 hours. The parent is in the room, so the child feels safe.
The parent leaves for short periods. The child stays until lunch, and the teacher keeps in touch with you.
